NASCAR, you are terrible at getting things right. You gave the victory to the wrong driver.
Tony Stewart forced Smith below the yellow line. Maybe you will get something right sometime NASCAR. No, wait, that will never happen.
Smith should have just wrecked Stewart like Vickers wrecked Jr. and Jimmie Johnson a few years ago. No, if he would have done that, NASCAR would have taken his victory away. It was a lose-lose situation for Smith. But congratulations to him on his second place finish.
And now on to another terrible move. Congratulations to Carl Edwards for taking out two of his teammates and other chasers. It was a good idea to stay out of trouble in the back all day. Then he had to go and cause the big one. My predictions were way off. (read previous entry for clarification.)
Now on to the championship standings.
Jimmie Johnson had the luckiest day of anyone. He is destined to win his third championship. He squeezed through all the wrecks, had trouble with his engine and still managed to get a top 10 finish.
