The Sprint Cup and the Nationwide Series are bringing the thunder to Big, Bad, Bristol Motor Speedway.
Bristol is an intense half-mile track with 24 to 30 degree banking in the turns and 5 degree banking on the straightaways.
Bristol is completely surrounded by the stands, which means the sounds, smells and vibrations of the cars have to run through the 160,000 screaming fans before it disperses into the hills surrounding the track.
This is why Bristol sells out every race. The fans love to come to the hills of Tennessee to eat, drink, party, enjoy the company of the other 160,000 camping fans and watch the beatin' and bangin' racing style Bristol has to offer.
I know this experience first hand, and you can't beat it. If you have never been to a race, I recommend this track to anyone. And if your not a fan, you will be after seeing a race at Bristol. Just be sure to take some hearing protection.
